Beef Greek Tacos
Ingredients
1 lb Hat Brand Ground Beef
1 Tbsp beef tallow or olive oil
1 onion, diced
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 Tbsp paprika
2 tsp dried thyme
1 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 Tbsp tomato paste
1/4 cup water
Directions
1. Heat oil in skillet on medium-high heat. Add onions and cook until softened. Add garlic and cook until fragrant.
2. Add ground beef to the skillet. Cook until done. Drain fat.
3. Reduce heat to low and stir in seasonings, tomato paste, and water until well combined. Allow to cook for about 5 minutes.
4. Serve ground beef on pitas with chopped sweet onion, chopped green onion, chopped tomatoes, chopped cucumbers, feta cheese and tzatziki sauce. Makes 4 servings.
