Grandma's Lil Cheddar Meatloaves


1 large egg
3/4 cup whole milk
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup oats
1/2 cup finely chopped onion
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 lb Hat Brand Ground Beef
2/3 cup ketchup
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1-1/2 teaspoons prepared mustard


  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the milk and egg. Stir in the cheese, oats, onion and salt. Add beef and mix well.
  2. Shape into 8 loaves; place in a greased 9x13 pan. In a small bowl, mix the ketchup, brown sugar and mustard; spoon over loaves.
  3. Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 25-30 minutes or they have an internal temperature of 160°.

Serve with a baked potato and your favorite vegetable.
