Saucy Beef Strips


1.5 Ibs Hat Brand Beef sirloin steak
1/4 cup butter
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 large green pepper strips
1 shredded carrot
1 can (1 lb) tomatoes with liquid
1 beef bouillon cube
1/2 tsp oregano leaves
1 Tbsp cornstarch
2 Tbsp water
2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp salt
Egg noodles
1 cup grated cheddar cheese 


1. Wipe steak with damp paper towel. Cut against the grain into 1/4" strips. Saute in heated butter with garlic until browned. Remove meat. 

2. Add onions, green peppers, and carrots. Cook for 2 minutes. Return meat to the skillet. Add tomatoes with liquid, bouillon cube, and oregano. Cover and simmer for 15 minutes or until meat is tender. 

3. Meanwhile in a small bowl, mix cornstarch, water, Worcestershire, and salt. Blend into the meat mixture. Stir until thickened. 

Serve over cooked egg noodles. Sprinkle with cheese. Goes well with coleslaw and garlic bread.
