Lasagna Soup

Ingredients

  • 2  lbs. Hat Brand Ground Beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 ½ tsp. Garlic salt
  • 24 oz. marinara sauce
  • 3 Tbsp. tomato paste
  • 8 cups chicken broth
  • 1 tsp. Dried basil
  • 1 tsp. Dried oregano
  • 1 tsp. Dried thyme
  • ½ tsp. Dried marjoram
  • ½ tsp. Dried rosemary
  • ¼ tsp. Red  pepper flakes
  • 10 lasagna noodles, broken into small pieces

Directions

  1. Brown ground beef, onions, garlic and garlic salt in a large pot on medium-high heat. Drain grease.
  2. Reduce to low-medium heat and add marinara sauce, tomato paste, chicken broth, and seasonings (can substitute 1 ½ Tbsp. Italian seasoning if desired.) Stir and bring to boil.
  3. Once boiling, add broken lasagna pieces and cook according to package until done. 
  4. Serve with desired toppings… I highly recommend using all of them!

  • Grated parmesan cheese
