With every beef we process, there are always a few packages that don’t meet our premium appearance standards. These “misfits” might include uneven cuts, broken seals, small punctures in the packaging, or a little frost from the freezer.
The beef itself is still the same high-quality Hat Brand Beef — just not quite pretty enough for our regular boxes.
Each Misfits Bundle includes approximately 15lbs of beef and is available in 2 options:
Mixed Cuts: A variety of steaks, roasts or brisket, ground beef and other assorted cuts.
Ground Beef Only: A box filled entirely with our ground beef misfits.
Please note:
• Some packages may have broken seals, small punctures, or ice buildup.
• Because of packaging imperfections, we recommend transferring the meat to your own freezer bags if needed.
• Bundles are packed to price, so the exact weight and mix of cuts may vary slightly from box to box.
Because these cuts don’t meet our usual packaging standards, we offer them at a discounted price.
